Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park is located in Loitoktok District, Kajiado County in Rift Valley Province of Kenya. It lies on the backdrop of the spectacular Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa highest mountain and the only free-standing mountain in the world. Amboseli tours are famous for the free roaming elephants that you can come up close in Africa; varieties of birds have also been recorded here. The swampy springs in the park support the life of herbivores in the park although the park is very dry and dusty. The endless underground water supply filtered through thousands of feet of volcanic rock from Kilimanjaro’s therefore supporting life in the swampy park. You’ll also meet face to face with the Maasai who reminds you that you are in Africa with their unchanged true culture.
