Ol Donyo Sabuk National Park is a small mountain covered in montane forest with a scenic view of mount Kenya at the summit. The park has less than 50 species of birds including the white-browed sparrow weaver, grey-headed sparrow weaver, mourning dove, augur buzzard just to mention a few. Buffalo are dominant animals within the park. Other animals include elusive leopard, Olive baboons, porcupines, mongoose, bushbucks, monitor lizard and aardvarks.
