Samawati cottages are located on the outskirts of Nyahururu town in Nyandarua County two and half hours’ drive from Nairobi, accessed from Kasuku shopping center along the Nyahururu-Ol Kalou main road, 7kms to the shores of Lake Ol Bolossat.  The Property has 3 cosy units built in a 20 acre piece of land with spectacular views of the Lake Ol Bolossat, Aberdare ranges and Ol donyo Satima Escarpments. The self-catering cottages are cabin styled and has master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, living area with TV and a fully furnished Kitchen.

Lake Ol' Bolossat is the only natural lake in Central Province, Kenya. It is rated as the 61st Important Bird Area (IBA) holding a wealth of 180 bird species, making it an ideal destination for bird watchers. The lake is also the catchment area for the famous Thompson's falls and the Ewaso Nyiro River.
