Maralal Game Sanctuary

Maralal Game Sanctuary is a 250 kilometer squared located 350 km from Nairobi and 3 km from Maralal town in Samburu County. It's bordered by the riverine forest in the North and Ngare Ndare River which give it life. Visitors enjoy nature walks, Camel riding, and bird watching, and magnificent landscape, game viewing like zebra, leopard, hyena, elands, impala, baboons, buffalos and elephants - seasonal. Maralal is very famous for the very unique experience of Maralal International Camel Derby every second week of august annually.
