Mara Intrepids Camp enjoys
one of the most spectacular locations in the world’s best-known wilderness
Maasai Mara National Reserve. It sits above a sweeping bend in the Talek River
at the confluence of the Maasai Mara’s four game-viewing areas.
Day 1: Fly to Maasai Mara
Today you’ll board your flight at Wilson and Fly to Maasai Mara Game Reserve approximately 45 minutes. Upon arrival at the airstrip you will be met by a guide who will transfer you to Mara Intrepids Camp . Check in and enjoy lunch at the Lodge before a late afternoon game drive. Enjoy your first dinner and Overnight.
Day 2: Maasai Mara
today enjoy a full day exploring the Africa’s safari destination. The Maasai Mara is part of the Serengeti ecosystem and boasts a strong permanent population of game. When the Great Migration of zebra, gazelle and wildebeest arrives typically in early July – end of October the population enlarges by almost 2 million. The greatest phenomenon happens during the Great wildebeest migration. The showdown at Mara River is a breath taking moment that should never be missed. This provides a great food source for predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyena. Be sure to watch for elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo too. The sheer density of cats in this park is evidenced by the Big Cats Diary filmed by BBC.
Day 3: Fly to Nairobi
enjoy a final early morning game drive before breakfast‚ after which you will be catching your return flight to Nairobi's Wilson Airport. Your safari ends upon arrival at Wilson.
