Thomsons Falls | Thomsons Falls Lodge

Thomson's fall is a 74 m (243 ft) scenic waterfall on the Ewaso Ng'iro River, which drains from the Aberdare Ranges. It is situated two miles from the town of Nyahururu in an en route tourist circuit to Lake Nakuru National park from Laikipia wilderness or either way. It is one of the MUST stopovers for all tourists to view this beautiful waterfall from the rim of the gorge.

Hippo pool is located upstream from the falls. It’s possible to view the falls from above as well, and there’s also a trail down to the bottom of the ravine. The fall is located near Thomson Falls Lodge where you can enjoy lunch en-route.
