Saiwa Swamp National Park

Saiwa Swamp National Park is the smallest park in Kenya with only 3 Km2.The park ecosystem comprises of swamp riverine forest, sedge and acacia woodland. It's a home of the rare and endangered semi aquatic Sitatunga Antelope and also De Brazzas Monkey. The park is most popular to ornithologist, the forest and has abundant birdlife like Narina Trogon the collared and orange-tufted sunbird, the yellow bishop, Hartlaub’s marsh widow bird and Ross’s turacos which are difficult to miss.
