Meru National Park

Meru National Park is a complete unspoiled wilderness, diverse with the flora and fauna. Little visited despite the presence of the big five and a rhino sanctuary within the park. The famous Elsa of Born free was released to the wild by Joy and Adamson in this park. There are several accommodation facilities that ensures your safari is comfortable and unforgettable like the Elsa Kopje, Rhino River Lodge, Ikweta, Safari Camp, Murera Eco Lodge, Leopard Lodge and KWS houses in Kinna and Murera.  Most animals seen are Grevy's Zebra, Elephants, Eland, Bush Pig,  Waterbuck, Cheetah, Leopard, Reticulated Giraffe, Hippopotamus, Bohor Reedbuck, Hartebeest, Python, Puff Udder, Cobra, Buffalo, more than 427 recorded species of birds.

The park is easily accessed by flying.
